Arm Wrestling

Various factors can play a part in success during an arm wrestling match. Technique and overall arm strength are the two greatest contributing factors alongside arm length, muscle and arm mass/density, hand grip size, wrist endurance and flexibility, and reaction time.

In competitive arm wrestling, both contestants stand with their arms placed on a tournament wrestling table, with their elbows bent and touching the surface. Gripping each other's hands, the goal is to pin the other's arm onto the surface, with the winner's arm over the loser's arm.

Arm wrestling tournaments are divided into weight classes as well as left and right-handed divisions.
