Kite Surfing / Kite Boarding

Kitesurfing or kite boarding is an individual primarily recreational sport. It is conducted on open areas of water, which can be shallow or deep, flat or bumpy, in preferably constant winds between 8 -50knots.

A new discipline that is a cross between kitebuggying and kitesurfing, the same kites are used and the pilot sits in the craft and use feet to steer, the crafts are made of fibreglass or alloy and can have 2 people on board.



One of the oldest kitepowered sports, riders sit down and control the kites whilst steering the buggy with legs. Buggies can be 2, 3 or 4 wheeled - however 3 wheels are the most common. Riders can race or do freestyle tricks once they have got the required skills.



Kitlandboarding is very similar to kitesurfing however the board ridden is like a giant skateboard and has wheels. All the aerial tricks can be performed on these boards that can be performed on the water. They can also be used for racing.



An aquatic sport where the participant is towed on a bouyant, convex, and hydrodynamically shaped board at a planning speed behind a motorboat. Riders generally sit on their heels and secure themselves to the deck with an adjustable strap over their thighs.



A mixed gender team ball game, consisting of four men and four women per team. Players score by throwing the ball through the other team's basket. After two goals the teams change zones: defenders become attackers and attackers become defenders. At half-time teams swap halves.
