Angling-School CIC

Angling-School CIC provides young or vulnerable people or those with additional needs and other members of the community positive recreational, educational and environmental activities so as to promote healthy life styles, social inclusion and community cohesion.
Angling-School offers courses in First Aid up to and including 3 day FAW and specialist modules such as Pediatrics and AED.
Angling-School CIC further aims to introduce people of all ages to recreational angling and to develop their skills in systematic and structured ways to enable them to progress to independence, and to introduce them to angling clubs to continue their involvement, if they so wish, in social and competitive situations.Angling can and does have a very powerful and positive influence on people especially young people. Not only can it provide opportunities for enjoyment and achievement, it can also develop valuable qualities such as self-esteem, leadership and teamwork.
Angling-School CIC aims to recognise and reward progress through award schemes and accredited programmes, and provide Extended Learning Opportunities for young people.
