National Trust - Godolphin

A beautiful and romantic place, with a long and fascinating history. Time has stood still here, giving the garden, house and surrounding estate buildings a haunting air of antiquity and peace. The garden is largely unchanged since the 16th century. The estate walks are rich in prehistoric and mining archaeology. Note: the house is open to visit between bookings as a holiday cottage: check opening dates.

Godolphin has an estate walks leaflet available to buy from the Welcome Hut or shop. There are also way-marked routes around the estate (free to enter, car parking charges apply to non-National Trust members) and a free 5 or 10K multi-terrain run on the fourth Sunday of every month.

Godolphin's Summer of Sport activities take place over the school summer holidays, and can include Archery GB Arrows, badminton and running games. See or for details
